Research shows that most hospital patients are dissatisfied with outdated forms. Visiting the doctor can be stressful already, the last thing patients want is to feel like they're filing their taxes.
Experiencing long wait times during covid encouraged the development for the new onboarding process. It was hoped that with faster patient intake, there would be diminished wait times.

After exploring the demographics of the surrounding area, it was determined:
-    Patients are likely to be insured and have a job that offers insurance
-    Patients were likely to be majority tech comfortable due to the prevalence of smartphones
-    Patients are frustrated with existing hospital wait times
-    Patients wanted their clinician to be familiar with their medical history
